After a preliminary investigation revealed McDonald as the alleged suspect, police served a search warrant on the players Saan Jose home.dddddddddddd Police said McDonald has not been arrested and the investigation is ongoing. The 49ers stuck with McDonald after he was arrested in August on charges of domestic violence, which were dropped on Nov. 10 due to insufficient evidence. A law-enforcement source told the San Jose Mercury News the alleged victim in the sexual assault investigation is not McDonalds fiancee, who was the reporting party in an earlier domestic violence case.
